Objective of the Group
Coordinate, promote and consolidate actions and tools to increase the level of research, knowledge management and generation, technological development and innovations in space themes.

Specific Objectives

-Evaluate the level of knowledge and development in the matter of sciences and spatial technologies in Colombia.

- Incorporate, adapt and apply knowledge in sciences and spatial technologies orientated to solve national needs.

- Fortify the formation, update, research, technological development and innovation in spatial technology that are identified as high-priority.

- Consolidate a community in sciences and spatial technologies that is highly competitive, to look after the national requirements.

- Disclose the works that have been carried out and stimulate those that are related to the effective use of resources and spatial technologies, from the theoretical and applied perspectives.

- Promote the creation of companies in spatial technology that generate high levels of qualified employment and compete effectively in the global market with innovating solutions of high technological content.
