General Objective

Contribute to the objective of “All Colombians connected” – digital inclusion – through direct and indirect use of space technologies for telecommunications and the products, services and applications derived from them.

Specific Objectives 

-  Continue the execution of social projects of connectivity in remote areas and isolated zones of the country, that mainly require the use of satelite networks of telecommunications.

- Establish where possible a new regulatory framework consistent with the realities and tendencies of the telecommunications satellite.

 - Revision of the standardization for the use of the spectrum in satelite networks different from telecommunications (GNSS and ERS)

 - Implementation of connected social projects located in remote places and isolated zones of the country that in the majority require the use of telecommunications satellite networks.

- Putting into function the Andean satellite.

- Feasibility of a telecommunications satellite.
